Amazon Finds for Fall and Home October 2024 | Part 1

I've always loved sharing my internet finds and was finally confident enough to start this blog. Here are some cute fashion finds and household and personal care favourites from Amazon for the week of October 3, 2024. My husband and I travel the world and live out of two suitcases, and we use Amazon regularly to fulfill our needs when our schedule doesn't allow us to head to a store.

I wanted to share some of my Amazon purchases from this week. I have included Canadian and American links so you can click on the best shop for you! These links are either from brands I've bought from before or products I use regularly. If I have reservations about anything linked, I will mention it as I don't want to steer anyone wrong. Full product links will be attached to Canada or the USA, along with a description.
Amazon Find 1: SneakERASERS Instant Sole and Sneaker Cleaner, Premium, Disposable, Dual-Sided Sponge for Cleaning & Whitening Shoe Soles
When I was looking for something to clean my husband's white leather shoes, these kept coming up. I am happy to report that they have done the job, and I highly recommend them if you're looking for something other than a magic eraser to clean any of your shoes. The number in each package was more than enough to last us a while.
Amazon Find 2: BASIC CONCEPTS Tongue Scraper (2 Pack)
While trying to research ways to improve my health over the past few months, tongue scraping kept coming up. Tongue scraping is meant to reduce bad breath and improve oral health. This two-pack of tongue scrapers has been perfect for travelling. They come with travel cases and are stainless steel, which makes them easy to clean and aren't too heavy, so putting them in our luggage isn't an issue.
I scrape in the morning when I wash my face and again at night before I brush my teeth. My mouth feels much cleaner throughout the day, and my husband has been complaining less about my lousy morning breath! It was a win all around.
Amazon Find 3: POPCHOSE Fabric Shaver
I had a friend recommend this to me years ago, and after some time, I eventually gave in and bought one for myself. It has become one of my favourite household tools. I have saved countless sweaters from pilling and extra lint.
There were no tears when I accidentally put a towel in the dryer with my woolish cardigan. It took some time, but this tool enabled me to eliminate all the towel bits without worry. My sweater ended up looking brand new. I cannot recommend this tool enough!
Amazon Find 4: AUTOMET Women Half Zip Sweatshirts with and without Hoods.
This is one of the closest sweaters to my Lululemon scuba-cropped hoodies. I've always been skeptical about these Amazon finds' quality and overall style. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I finally pulled the trigger and ordered one without the hood.
The quality of the sweater is the same as what I am used to with my usual Lululemon sweaters. Once I washed it, it was incredibly soft and cozy; as with anything new, a wash makes it feel clean and ready to go. There are many colour options, so there is something for everyone.
I wanted to include the hooded sweater and the funnel neck style, so both links are listed below. I purchased the one with the funnel neck (without hood) in Grey in the XS and found it fits similar to my XS/S Lululemon in sizing. Friends have ordered the hooded versions; the quality and fit are the same. I love that I can find comfortable sweaters that look designer but don't have that hefty price tag.
Don't get me wrong—I love my Lululemon, but sometimes, life doesn't give you that money to spend. This is an excellent option for anyone looking for a cute cropped sweater.
Amazon Find 5: ANRABESS Women's Oversized Sweatshirt Fleece Sherpa Jacket Cropped.
I found this in the "Things You May Like" Email from a few weeks back, and if I had room in my luggage, I would have this in multiple colours. The colour selections are great, and the sweater looks so cozy and identical to the one I almost bought on FP Movement. I love these brands on Amazon, which allow me to look cute at a more realistic price tag.
Amazon Find 6: Secura Electric Milk Frother.
Who doesn't love a tea latte or frothed milk in their coffee, hot chocolate or whatever drink suits your fancy? Depending on your preferences, the 4-in-1 frothing option gives hot and cold milk in fluffy or dense foam.
I have loved exploring my options when creating lattes at home, and sometimes, I love steaming some oat or lactose-free milk. I can sip milk while I read in bed. The silent mode allows me to frother my milk while my husband sleeps, and I don't feel like I'm waking up on the entire floor of our hotel. Having this on tour has been a real treat, and I will take it home when our touring life ends.
Amazon Find 7: Kids Propolis Throat Spray
A few years back, we were travelling to Alabama in springtime, and the allergy symptoms I experienced were like nothing I had ever experienced. A local recommended to us that eating local honey would teach my sinuses that the trees around us weren't evil. I am obviously not a doctor or a medical professional, so this could be an old folk tale for all I know. So please do your research.
ANYWHO! When I found this throat spray, I thought it would be fun to try! I know it's for kids, but I figured the results would be similar. I have only been taking this for a week, so I'm not sure what the long-term effects are, but I've noticed my nose has been less runny since I started, as it usually gets runny while we're hanging out in Florida. I have heard good things about this brand, and when I've used this in the past - I also LOVE honey, so the taste is delicious!
